a slight fever and the 3 day flu
was maybe why u were dreading the job so much. u could feel it approaching.
but so, now it's kind-of funny at the job. the days are all messed up. with the snow storm. or winter storm. or whatever. severe cold. since they were unable to deliver for 3 days.
so like, Monday. is always the worst day. stock-up for the whole week. but the truck that came Monday was from Thursday. (usually a ridiculously light day).
but good it was so, bc the fever came-on strong there. just before going-in even. contemplating calling-off even.
was burning up. sweating even. despite the lighter than usual work. but was freezing. shivering.
took a long break, bundled up in my layers, scarf & jacket, & had a little nap & tylenol. and was fine for the rest of the night then. a bit delirious still, but able to function.
then yesterday. slept nearly 20 hours. one of my days off. so was able to. the fever was on-&-off. felt weak & sore. just sleep through it.
but to-day am feeling much better. only a very slight fever. sinuses clogged a bit. (so it's almost over).
similar to a bout u had last year round this time. a little 3 day flu.
